In the previous renders unfortunately the large intervals between the boards lacked the fluidity of the original composition. By doubling the number of boards a much more fluid form is created. This is what we aim to recreate as our final exhibition piece. To tie it to the ceiling see through rods will be used to give the instillation a feeling of ‘weightlessness’.

The conceptual model showed the rhythmic pattern of the music: it started off quietly, with a calmer pace and finished off in a grandiose manner, which is further accentuated by altering the direction of the tail piece. The installation hovered above the  gallery space and cascaded down the studio space below. The installation is site-specific in a way that we took the opportunity to explore the potential of the double height studio space.
